1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Sourccey product or accessing or using Sourccey software, services, or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, do not place an order or use the site, software, or services.

2. Description of Service

Sourccey is an open-source personal robot project that provides software, hardware designs, and documentation. The Sourccey software (Sourccey Studio/Desktop) is a platform for training, controlling, and managing robotics systems. All software, hardware designs, and documentation are made available under open-source licenses.

We collect checkout information needed to fulfill purchases. When connected to Vulcan Robotics services, Sourccey may also collect and transmit operational, diagnostic, usage, and performance data as described in our Privacy Policy. Standard product telemetry may be enabled by default where permitted by law. Uploading synchronized camera frames, joint positions, actions, or demonstrations for model training requires a separate affirmative permission in Sourccey Desktop.

Email updates are optional and consent-based. If you opt in, you authorize us to send product, launch, and platform update emails to the provided address. You can unsubscribe or re-subscribe at any time from your account page or via signed unsubscribe/resubscribe links in our emails.

3. Purchases, Payment, and Delivery

An order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. We may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order because of inventory limits, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues, shipping restrictions, or legal requirements. An automated confirmation only confirms that we received your order.

Prices, applicable taxes, shipping, deposits, and any remaining balance are displayed during checkout. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide for the amounts you authorize. If an order uses a deposit, the checkout disclosures and notices sent before fulfillment describe when the remaining balance is due.

Product availability, production schedules, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly to request a cancellation. We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order enters processing or ships.

Return eligibility, instructions, and any product-specific warranty will be provided with the product or made available at the time of purchase. Nothing in these terms limits a nonwaivable right or remedy under applicable consumer law. Sourccey is actively developed, so components, software, specifications, and included features may change as we improve manufacturing, safety, reliability, and performance.

4. Open Source License

Sourccey software, hardware designs, and documentation are provided under open-source licenses. The specific license terms for each component are available in the respective GitHub repositories. By using Sourccey, you agree to comply with the applicable open-source license terms.

You are free to use, modify, and distribute Sourccey in accordance with the applicable open-source license, subject to the terms and conditions of that license.

5. Software Downloads

Software downloads are provided "as-is" without any warranties or guarantees. You are responsible for ensuring that the software is compatible with your system and for any consequences of installing or using the software.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any software downloads at any time without prior notice.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use Sourccey software and services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Not use the software for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software beyond what is permitted by the open-source license
Not interfere with or disrupt the operation of the software or services
Maintain the security of your systems and data when using Sourccey
Provide a valid email address and manage your own subscription preferences for optional update emails

7. Intellectual Property

All open-source components of Sourccey are subject to their respective open-source licenses. Trademarks, logos, and brand names associated with Sourccey remain the property of their respective owners.

When contributing to Sourccey, you grant the project and its maintainers the right to use, modify, and distribute your contributions under the applicable open-source license.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOURCCEY, ITS CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE OR SERVICES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sourccey, its contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the software or services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Sourccey after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the software or services at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delaware.
